Olives groves
The Bourlokas family owns 50 acres of olive groves in the historical region of Mystras.
The olive groves consist of approximately 7,500 olive trees, 3,000 of which are young plants.
Among those trees, experts have assessed two olive trees as old growth olive trees, over the age of 100.
The main production volume comes from the Koroneiki cultivar while in the farms owned by the family the varieties of Athinolia, Koutsourelia, Trypiotiki (or Stroumpouloelia) a local variety, Botsikolias and Kalamon for table use, are cultivated.
