Our Olive Oil
Selected Greek extra virgin oil, Lokas Olive Oil, from the region of Lakonia is produced by the Bourlokas family-owned olive groves.
The olive oil from the region of Lakonia is famous for its unique quality that satisfies three senses: taste, vision and texture. With a rich scent and flavor, a golden green color and no acidity, filled with vitamins.
What makes the Bourlokas family olive oil special is the fact that it is produced by the oldest olive groves in the region.
Dry summers and mild winters are the ideal climate for olive tree cultivation, something well known from antiquity. The olive trees have a high yield because of the rich composition of the soil.
The family's annual production of extra virgin olive oil is approximately 10 tons with a maximum guaranteed level of acidity of < 0. 5%.
The Bourlokas family is responsible for the standardisation process. The olive oil is transfered in special storage facilities in stainless steel tanks and is later bottled.
Every year the resulting product undergoes specific quality controls.
The Lokas Olive Oil is available in 1 liter, 3 liters, 5 liters and 17 liters packaging.

For the bigger packaging the metal containers used are made of tinplate to ensure the olive oil's maximum quality protection since the product remains inside the container for a longer period of time.
